A ministry for women that promotes friendships of love, support and guidance.
"Older women are to be reverent in their behavior…teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored." - Titus 2:3-5
What is Heart to Heart?
- God’s call for women to open their lives and hearts to another woman — a purposeful relationship of friendship, support and guidance.
- A mentoring ministry that helps older and younger women develop and grow spiritually.
- An opportunity for women of all ages to tap into the reservoir of experience, empathy, and maturity…a 19 year old woman can come alongside a young lady in high school… a 55 year old woman can be mentored by a more senior woman… a seasoned mom can encourage a new mom.
- Women understand women. When women’s unique needs are met through godly role models, the entire church body is blessed.
Who is Heart to Heart for?
- All women… any age and any level of spiritual maturity.
- Older women… in terms of life experience and walk with the Lord, not necessarily chronological age.
- Younger women… who are seeking spiritual guidance and meaningful friendships of love and support.
"Christian mentoring is a dynamic, intentional relationship of trust in which one person enables another to maximize the grace of God in their life and service. Followers of Jesus know that we are called to mentoring. The basic requirement is a living relationship with God and an ability to listen and respond sensitively. If this is true of you, you can be God's agent in enriching another person's life." [Carson Pue]
