Kids! Join us for a night of fun and excitement with your friends right here at Christ Community. Parents, we are happy to provide this opportunitiy as a FREE EVENT to allow you to go on a date (which follows our Sunday marriage series)! We will play games, have a snack, and watch a movie. If you are having your child dedicated on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, please plan on attending our required Child Dedication Class this Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012. The class will meet in room 201 at 9am that morning. Shelley Melvin, our KidzROCK Director, and I will discuss how Christ Community intentionally partners with you, the parents, to raise children that follow Christ. We also discuss the logistics of the child dedication service. To have your child dedicated on Feb. 12, 2012, please contact Joni in the church office, at 610-431-0300. You'll eventually need to have a dedication Scripture that will be read during your child's dedication. You will also need to choose which service you would prefer to have your child dedicated at - 9am or 10:30am. However, please note that those slots are limited.  Special thanks to our parenting preschool panel that taught in the areas of behavioral, educational and spiritual development, last Sunday. If you missed the class, click on the podcast link at left, at hp.visitccc.com, next week. Our next class is a brand new Baby Dedication class on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 9am in room 201. This is now a required class for anyone requesting child dedication. You can also attend the class if you have recently dedicated your child. On Nov. 13 and Nov 20, Shelley Melvin will teach on the spiritual development of preschoolers. That class will also be at 9am in room 201.
