Home School Program

Developing Character... Here & Now for Then & There

"Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it..."  - Proverbs 22:6

Have you chosen to homeschool? Although opportunities abound, choosing to homeschool can feel isolating.  Through our Women's Ministry we want to reach out, encourage, and help to build a greater sense of community among homeschooling families.

WOW HOMESCHOOL

Comprehensive HomeSchool Program, meeting Wednesdays, 9:00-11:30a.m., September - May. This Bible-based program (grades 1-12) offers a full morning of supplemental curriculum to enhance your family's home school.  The WOW morning include Bible class, Multi-media Art (hands on art class), Music/Choir, and Physical Education. In addition, for our students in grades 9-12, an optional high school track is offered that includes a Writing and Literature class, Multi-media Art, and Music/Choir. An optional afternoon Drama Elective is available for all students grades 1-12. The drama elective is comprehensive and includes a production at the end of each semester.

This homeschool program runs consecutively with Women's Bible Study, offering small group study for women at the same time the children are in their classes. Small group study offers support, friendship, and encouragement of women from all stages of life. Discussions of God's Word brings shared insights and understanding. For families with younger children, a WOW preschool children's program is available for infants - Kindergarten.

Our Homeschool Program also offers extended support throughtout the year with special events for the whole family, with Achievement Nights, Spring Recital, Field Days, and a Summer Reading Program.
