Single Moms
NEVER MARRIED... WIDOWED... SEPARATED or DIVORCED...
BE ENCOURAGED - there is great hope in friendship, support and solid Biblical wisdom for you as a woman in the season of single parenting.
While you may be a single parent, you are not alone. You are a woman who is loved by a God who will provide all you need through His love and His grace. ALL parents struggle with worries and cares regarding the complex and exhausting role of parenting. I love this straightforward insight from Angela Thomas from her book Single Mom, “Your children belong to God. And God is not surprised when you solo-parent. They will be OK, because they are His and you have fallen on your knees and entrusted them to the faithful care of your Father. God will be their covering and their guide. “
In tough times, trusting God to meet your daily, tangible needs is hard—but even more so when your children are watching.
We want to support you in this season of single parenting…with friendship, connection, small group support, and the encouragement of God’s Word.
Single MOMs will be led by women who are or who have been single parents, and
who have experienced first hand God’s love and provision in their lives.
Our vision is a sincere effort of care, confidence and connection for single mothers.
Our source will be God’s Word—His truth and wisdom for every one of us.
You can thrive in this season of single and parenting. You can do more than you ever hoped or imagined. You can find all the love and patience you need in raising your children alone. You can accomplish the single motherhood role with grace and charm, and even have an ample supply left over in order to emerge into a healthy adult woman. God promises us all we need, out of his great affection for you, He declares: “You can do all things through My Son, Jesus Christ, who gives YOU strength...” Philippians 4:13
I began a good work in you. I will finish it. Philippians 1:6 - All things are possible. Luke 18:37 - I will make a new road in the desert. (so don’t look back) Isaiah 43:19 - I will not leave you comfortless. John 14:18 - I will supply your needs. Philippians 4:19 - My truth shall set you free. 1 Corinthians 1:30

Drawing on teaching from several experts, this study looks at real world questions single parents face every day:
- Con I be successful as a single parent?
- How do I maintain order and structure in my home?
- My kids don't obey: what do I do?
- How do I deal with the financial pressures I am facing?
- Why does God allow me to suffer this way?
- Does God care about the problems I have as a single parent?
- Will my children succeed as adults?
Scripture is the basis for the answers explored in this dynamic study that will speak to you right where you are.
FRIENDSHIP
It is our desire that friendship, support, trust and accountability be available to every woman ... and that in the season of single parenting, spiritual friendships are essential. ALL single moms are welcome to come as they are, when they are able.
"True spiritual friends exhibit significant intentionality in their relationship. Intentional friendships help us attune our souls to the presence and activity of God, as well as enable us toweather those times of hardship and tragedy when God seems far away." - Sarah Zacharias Davis, The Friends We Keep
